Downloaded an ebook….having problems?????
Well i just downloaded and ebook and paid for it. i had an email saying that i purchased it. i was reading the book than i shut down my computer…i logged back on and the book is gone!!!!! its a pdf on adobe i believe and ive goen to start..search…PDF and nothing shows up it dissapeared somehow. and i never saved it cause i thought u didnt have to, since it said it downloads to your computer. any help would be awsome! thanks!

Sounds like it wasn’t a download, but a direct link to the PDF file. If the PDF opens in the same window, then you haven’t really saved it. When that happens, the first thing you should do is click the Save A Copy button on Adobe Reader and it will save it for you.
There are a couple of things you can do. You can contact the seller and explain what happened. They will probably send you a link or a copy of the file.
Otherwise, try clicking the history button on your browser and look there to see if the page is displayed. Then you can go back to the page with the PDF (be sure to save a copy this time).
When you do a search on your computer, do the search for *.pdf (star dot pdf) That tells your computer to find all files with the pdf extention. If you just enter pdf, it’s going to look for files named pdf and it won’t find anything.
